BP - Multi-Site Fuel Station Portfolio – Facilities Management Case Study

Our team was appointed to provide facilities management support across a portfolio of 10 fuel station locations, delivering a consistent standard of maintenance, presentation, and asset protection across multiple sites.

The contract involved a combination of grounds maintenance, drone inspections, pressure washing, and reactive light repair works, ensuring each site remained safe, compliant, and visually appealing for customers and staff.

Grounds Maintenance

A comprehensive grounds maintenance programme was implemented across all locations, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, litter management, and general landscape upkeep. Maintaining the external environment to a high standard helped enhance customer experience while ensuring each site reflected the client’s brand image.

Drone Surveys & Asset Inspections

Advanced drone technology was utilised to carry out inspections of roofs, canopies, gutters, signage, and other high-level structures. Detailed aerial surveys enabled efficient condition reporting and early identification of maintenance requirements without disrupting trading operations.

Pressure Washing

Forecourt areas, pedestrian walkways, service yards, and external hardstanding surfaces were professionally pressure washed to remove dirt, oil residues, chewing gum, algae, and general surface contamination. These works improved site presentation while helping reduce slip hazards in high-traffic areas.

Light Repairs & Reactive Maintenance

A range of minor repair works were undertaken across the portfolio, addressing defects quickly and efficiently to minimise disruption. Reactive maintenance services helped ensure sites remained operational, safe, and presentable at all times.

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

Alongside reactive services, scheduled inspections and maintenance activities were coordinated to proactively manage assets across all locations. This approach reduced the likelihood of unexpected failures while supporting long-term cost control and asset preservation.
